Question regarding dd wheels and slew rate

I'm getting serious in purchasing a dd wheel and leaning towards the Simucube 2. In my research, I sometimes see a spec for slew rate. What I've read about slew rate it seems to me that can translate to the fidelity of the wheel. In my uneducated mind with such things it seems to me that the higher the slew rate means the motor can handle the current changes moving the motor back and forth more quickly. Am I correct in this? If so, the slew rate is nearly double between the Simucube 2 Sport and Pro models. Would this be a perceptible difference or would the Sport suit me just fine? For reference, I'm currently on a Fanatec CS v2.5 (which I can't find what the slew rate is for reference).
