Question: Changing SObject Curb Colours

Hello

I would like to get my curbs to show yellow - blue - yellow - red instead of the default white - red - white - blue. I really like the curbs included in the default XPack and want to change the colours around.

If anybody has any other XPacks with curbing in them, please share.

Lots of extra curb colours in the "Ennis Extras" xpack.
If someone wants to convert to sobjects, go for it.

Well, is there a way i can replace the current blue red white curb texture with the one I want?

You can go to your "C:\Program Files\BobsTrackBuilder\XPacks" folder.
Unzip the default xpack.
Them go to the "Default\Textures\Ripple" folder & open the "ripple001.dds" file in photoshop or similar.
Modify it to suit your needs.
If you save as same name the sobject will just pick up your new texture.
Go back to the "default" folder (the one with CrossSections, Materials etc..)
Select all of these folders & re-zip.
Rename it to something other than default (maybe pezter).
Copy it back into the xpack folder & delete the "default" folder.

Now you should have a new xpack called "pezter" in your list.
The thumbnail of the sobject won't be updated but the one you see in BTB should be fine.

1. Click the Materials menu button.
2. Click the Textures Tab.
3. Click the Load button.
4. Locate your texture.
5. Click Open.
6. Click OK.

Thanks Brenden, works perfect. I needed the all white strips. Took me awhile to find the materials box since it's not labeled. Perhaps you can create a video on how to change the textures. example, coloring the ripple strips.
