Question About RPM Tachometer

Hello. I watch this video lesson and try to make same thing but with breadboard... Someone can tell me how i can connect wires there ? I try several ways but without luck.

@sti228 If you put the on/off switch in the 12 volt line before it connects to the board you could leave the power supply connected to the wall outlet and turn the unit on/off with the switch

I don't use breadboard because i really don't understand how to wire cables there. For this reason i go simple... I also use 12V led indicator.
