F1 2010 Question about leaderboard icons

Hi, i am just starting to get the hang of this game and have been trying time trial on Silverstone (1.29.1 BTW.) On the leaderboards i am like the only person with a 'cog' under the 'S'. Can anyone explain what the S stands for and why mine might not show? Maybe i would be more like 59 seconds with thiis extra cog =] Thanks in advance hopefully...............

The symbol you mean is a custom setup, you can either take the enigineers setup (not recommended) or you can use your own (get them on RD under car setups) then you have the tire symbol also which highlights assists that have been used. If you use your own setup you should be able to save yourself a second or 2 per lap sometimes more depending on the current setup you are using for silverstone. Hope this helps.

im using one of victors setups, but not his skills =( But yeah that helps, thanks.... apart from i have no cog despite loading my (victor's) saved setup, i used no assists apart from racing line. anyways thanks. =]

If you are using 'any' of the assists you will see that symbol displayed even if it is only the racing line.
