Python support ending?

No decision is taken yet as said in a thread created on AC Forum ... they still hesitate for multiple reasons.
Sure many modders are not happy with this sudden possible change.

There are some really good points on both sides of the C++ or Python debate on the AC forum. Performance and feature benefits of C++ vs the established Python apps and community with an easier entry point for hobbyist programmers. There is definitely a way to have 64-bit version on AC with Python support, it's just a cumbersome method.

Because this debate only popped up after Stefano looked into 64-bit AC, now that it can be achieved without removing Python leads me to believe it will stay for the time being. If we do see a huge engine overhaul for AC in the future (a v2.0 or something), I can't see Python surviving that though.
