proTyres question/help

I have seen proTyres pop up a lot in downloads and updates, I really want a go of it but don't know where to start. I see the pics of detailed tire info etc, but what do all the cars do for it in the updates that have rolled out?
Are they ideal tire pressures for a specific car/tire? How does each car use the file for the car in proTyres?
Well - in short, how do you use the dang thing...

Sorta totally lost and would appreciate any help.

proTyres is an optional app to be used instead of kunos Tyres. The app reads the tyre data from the car and will also provide some extra features. You first needs the main app found here:
https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/protyres.14030/

The base app only support native kunos cars and mods with open data structure. For other mod cars you need to get an ini&lut pack for the specific car.

They can many times be found in the ini&lut pack found here:
https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/protyres-ini-lut-pack.18088/

The app tries to help you understand the tyres, there are more details written in the description of the base app. Hope it helps or feel free to ask. :)

OK gotcha, thank you. Didn't know the base only works for Kunos cars, so I'll start there before any mod cars.
I've seen the ini&lut packs containing various cars (downloaded and looked), so lets assume one car, Ginetta GT3 and its folder.

Where is that folder to be dropped in? Or, what to do with the single folder.

Thanks a bunch, starting to make sense, aint so bad:sneaky:

You can drop the files in any folder called "cars_...", default in the ini&lut archive is "cars_mod"

This app plus RacerData are pretty much the only apps I use. This one tells me the very important "how many laps until performance degrades" and the distance from ideal psi. Its really great
