The title's director saying the tweet isn't necessarily correct (and it didn't come from SMS).

I think he's talking about the gold status, not the release date.

He's referring to both... Target is still "Mid-May", and SMS hasn't announced the date yet. As mentioned in the post, the WMD forum will be the first to know.

What's confusing about it? He say's it's not correct and it will be announced on WMD from SMS specifically.

7th in EU because of bank Holiday. 8th for UK, and the 12th for everybody else. Unless you're a WMD member, it's whenever you want to fire up Steam and play it.
