Profiler & Steam

Got my g25 over a year now and have been using the profiler to strart my offline races, but for onlines, i just go click on steam and thats it. Does the g25 profiler still works even if you cant link it with steam? Tried to link it with the profiler but it wont start. Does opening them both seperately automatically activates it on the game?

the profiler still does its job as its directly linked with the device drivers.

i dont know if you can link the profiler to a shortcut for launching the game but if you can creat a shortcut to steam.exe and change the target to "D:\Program Files\Steam\Steam.exe" -applaunch 8660" which will launch steam and tell it to launch gtr evo.

i tried linking steam on the profiler but it wont lunch steam.. will try playing around with it.. thanks man

also if you change the 8660 to 8690 it will launch stcc if you have it.

no stcc yet but im already planning to get one on steam =) better than evo right? thanks again for the info man.
