Problem with my Thrustmaster TX

I have had a problem with my steering wheel for some time. After 10-15 minutes of play, it starts humming like in the video. All I have to do is unplug it and plug it in again, so I can play for hours and nothing happens. The steering wheel operates normally during this humming

I'm pretty sure it's the internal fan cooling system. May be proven wrong though...

So all I have to do is send the steering wheels for warranty? I contacted support thrustmaster today. We'll see what they write to me.

I would also say that it's the fan. I also had that problem with mine 1 year after use.
If you give it some "gentle" slaps sometimes it passes away the noise
Your better option IMO is to substitute it by a Noctua fan. This is a very common mod done to this wheels.
I have the feeling that if you send it to warranty, sooner or later will happen again.

Internal fan.
What firmware version are you on?
TM released a new driver also.
I was not even aware until last evening.
It is a 2020 release.
Make sure you have it installed.

I installed a new firmware two days ago the problem remained.
I got a message today "We like to inform you that a RMA procedure has been started for your unit."
I will send steering wheels to them. If the problem persists then the fan will change.
