Problem with fuel loads

When i try a race with AI cars, the AI cars are out of fuel within 2 laps. (ok, it is a 15 mile track with an average speed of 155mph.) Still i think that the cars should be able to run longer. How can i achieve this?

Under [Waypoint] in the AIW file look for the line 'FuelUse=xxxxx.xxxxxx', this number determines the fuel use.

I'm not sure if it's a higher or lower number to increase the mileage, maybe copy the settings from another long track such as Nordschleife as see if that improves things.

Default fuel load would show up in the Garage, where you're setting up the car. Many mods do not give you a full tank, so just check to see if you can add more fuel than is already there.

You need to set it in the AIW file as chubba has stated.
In rfactor do a test run & watch the green fuel/lap counter.
When the fuel lap counter counts down note the position you are on the track.
Ideally when you get the 'FuelUse=xxxxx.xxxxxx' figure correct the counter will change on roughly the same part of the track each lap.
The higher the number the more fuel you will have for each lap.
For a 15 mile track I would start with about "300000".
It's roughly 12500 per kilometre.
If your fuel changes earlier each lap increase the figure.
If it changes later decrease the figure.

I know it's hard on a 15 mile track but i don't know of any other way to calculate it accurately.
Have Fun :D
