I really liked the track, great event.
I did well in qualifying and had great starts in both races, but in both races I screwed up in the first lap. Still having a hard time driving in traffic but I suppose thats something I can work on. Really enjoyed the event though, thanks everybody.

RD rules are two wheels always inside the white lines, even if there are no obstacles. Not done Puebla in a while, but as far as I remember there's a couple of corners here that deviate massively from the white lines, so maybe it'll be a case of it's acceptable to go outside the lines, a la Adelaide.

Right Nik, REGARDLESS of where all the tire marks lead you, which has you often 4 wheels off the track, this is an RD event so "TRY" to keep two on the ice, errr track at all times please?

... because I find the cars a little dull. I was expecting something wilder and harder to control than the GT Pro and WTCCX series, but these has so much grip it feels like it's driving on rails ><

Let me answer with Mario Andretti's words: "If everything seems under control, you're just not going fast enough." ;)

I tried the mod too and indeed the car feels pretty stable. Maybe this is the nature of these cars - a lot of aerodynamics and fat tires. If you like to race rear happy cars probably the Muscle Cars or Retros are better suited.

For my part - I like all (most ;)) kinds of cars, 'cause all have their own challanges. Until now I always found the above-noted cite to be true.

I would like to sign up for this event too, but I'm out of the house on Sunday and can't say when I return for sure. Chances are 50/50 that I can make it. Please, don't put me on the list, but if I'm at home in time I will join you.

BTW - what are your lap times? I gave the 2010 Audi a try and ended with 1:44:4xx with nearly race fuel (30L). My setup is still a bit understeery but if I go from rear wing 4 to 3 it already gets "wild". Maybe something to try for Kjell to spice things up a bit ;).

I was more pointing out that rule to Kai than suggesting cutting is allowed. Don't worry, I know all too well about the white line rules (after the Magny-Cours round of the RDTCC), but there are situations where the white lines are beyond the realms of functionality (ie. Adelaide), but having not done Puebla in a long while, I can't remember exactly what the two or three corners where there's a massive cut look like. Either way as long as everyone adheres to the rules, I'm fine!

Ohh I'm slow for sure, it's just that when I try to push the car doesn't react the way I expect a "overpowered" car to do. I really don't like understeer, I much prefer oversteer, and I expect a RWD racing car to let loose if I slam the throttle on the exit of a corner. Might be because I'm too slow overall, but so far these cars have given me no fun at all.
Don't misunderstand me as complaining though, I'm just a bit disappointed because I was expecting WTCCX and then some in terms of being wild cars. :p
