This was a fun race, albeit I cocked it up multiple times.

Going out for qualifying (just having clicked drive) I went back to the pits, needing to change something. I somehow thought that as long as you were in pit lane it was fine. It wasn't. Hi there, 21st grid slot, haven't seen you in a while.

In race one I was up to 14th after the first lap, without any incidents. Coming round casino square on lap two my car only does one thing. Under-steer. I caught up to Martin Bulgin just there and could not take any avoiding action, but hit him. Really sorry about that Martin. Martin got away in 18th, and I was dead last. After the chicane a few laps later Mukonin had spun and was standing still in the middle of the track. I went for a gap big enough when he started reversing, leaving me even more last, with no front wing.

I made a pit stop at lap six and then drove everything out of the car. I got stuck behind a lot of cars that had lapped my. It is impossible to unlap yourself on this track, if you are not let through, so most of the race was just a long wait to get passed cars that I had "no right" to overtake. I'd like to say thanks to Jakob de Boer, who actually let me through when I was quicker. I had to give it up again when I caught up to the next guy in front and Jakob caught up to me, but it was still very welcomed.

In race two I started 18th I think and I after lap one I was in place six, which felt great. I the lost control and spun once or twice, so I ended up somewhere in the middle. I was stuck behind Cor van der Burg for many laps, and albeit I was a second or two faster per lap, I could not get passed. I pushed and I pushed, hoping that he would make a mistake, but he didn't. I managed to get passed on the last lap through the chicane, after a really fun fight, ending up somewhere in the middle of the standings.

All in all, not entirely happy, but it was still fun. I managed to set the fastest lap in race two, so that was good. Thanks to RD and the organisers for a great event!

Alright then, sign me up. I'll hate myself for doing this at about 2 A.M., but the racing always turns out great, so it's worth it! :)

No Keith tonight? :(

Emil we do provide some great racing as agroup! and if you can find your way over to teamspeak you get tones of unauthorized bonus content!:chat:

KB is at Shannonville for some big KArting deal. He's even going to strap on a KArt and race! As he put it, I am 30 pounds heavier now and that should kill my results. :snail:

Last race @ Road One i have had 7 incident reports of people cutting the track. For this race i expect everybody to obey the rules and drive like a gentlemen. Give each other some room and play fair, thats why we are here at the first place...

We have a fresh, new way of reporting and punishing incidents in the Racing Club, using an infractions system - read more here

You are actively encouraged to use this system - we like to keep driving standards high - so if you feel you were wronged in any way during an event simply send the event organizer a private message detailing the incident including a youtube video. Do not post reports/accusations in the thread itself - negativity and anger gets us nowhere.

Hugo thankfully there is only one spot to cut at MOnaco and it's really easy to give back the spot should you pass someone sliding thru that chicane after the tunnel.

YOUr workload should decrease a bit providing the drivers can handle these big power cars in this tight circuit.........

should be a tough race! wish I could join!

BTW love your car slide in the race announcement! May we borrow it over in the USA events?
