I have a 1.56.8 in the bmw and a 1.57.1 in the mosler... mosler is way easier to drive so I've got work to do with the bimmer tomorrow night to figure out 2 turns that are haunting me OR ELSE I'll show up in my favorite car in this class.... ole mosie...

On another note, I think it would be cool to see more women take on sim racing. I am not aware of a single woman here at RD.

I think what is needed for this track is:
- a car with good power and suspension
- a good setup that allows precise driving
- patience

The Daewoo has the first (don't know why I call it always Chevy while I started to drive it because it's a Daewoo actually, just with a changed brand name).
You can make the second, with very little adjustments balancing between grip/controllability.
The 3rd thing is another question. Today I seem to don't have it, I was constantly running more than half a second slower than my pb.

And now a little story, just in small about the Daewoo friendship:
We had 2 Daewoo-s before and both of them were really fine cars, despite their bad name around the world. The first was a Lanos, it did more than 200000km in the hands of my father and it didn't have a single problem while he was driving it sometimes like it was a rally car. It was also the first car I've driven, not on public roads, but I've driven it. The Lacetti is basically the new Lanos btw so here's the key
Our 2nd Daewoo was also quite good, it was a Kalos. This one had some problems though with it's wheels after 5 years (and another 200000km-s), we had to change the bearings in them, but that's mainly the fault of the 15000km mandatory service who forgot to oil them.
So this was my little Daewoo story

In offline practice I'm under the 2min barrier and hit 170mph at the patch on the back straight, it's gonna be fun in the pack.

Is there an online practice server up somewhere?

Lazlo, same here, I do about 286km/h ~ 172mph and my best time at the moment is a low 1:56.

Well being fast is not a problem at this track, turning those deadly chicanes are the issues.
