We have a fresh, new way of reporting and punishing incidents in the Racing Club, using an infractions system - read more here

You are actively encouraged to use this system - we like to keep driving standards high - so if you feel you were wronged in any way during an event simply send the event organiser a private message detailing the incident including a youtube video. Do not post reports/accusations in the thread itself - negativity and anger gets us nowhere.

right where to begin
practise: kept getting all wrong in first 3 turns
qually: clean but slow lap landed me 22nd
race 1: good start for me ,pretty much a case of crash bang wallop when i got to turn 4 with yuri and the ladas off and after reviewing replay about 9 cars went off/got hit there. had a clean race till lap 15 where i got totally nailed into turn 1 and ruined my rear of the car
race 2: stupid pit bug!!!!!!!! had 3 pitstops till a good one so cost me about 1 min 15 and cuz of that i was last but 2 finishes so i count that as a good result for me.

Really off my game today. Instead of hitting quote I edited your post Keith. Sorry about that.

Also where is the mandatory pitstop? Adds spice
Thanks for pointing that out, I knew I missed something. Added the usual stop for 2 tires to the mix. :)

On another note, are the forums kind of slow and funky right now, or is it just me?

Prep begins tonight. First up, BMW!!! Which I've secretly fallen in love with (don't tell my Mosler). I figure the Vette will be tough to stop here but if there's a car that can do it, It'll be the BMW as it's a good balance of all characteristics. I will say that the sport version of the vette is much more drivable than the Pro version. Way less torque I find.

Well this was fun!

Quafily:

Managed to get in the top 10 with the BMW. As i am quiting the FWD to gain my skills with the RWD cars it seems that i have lost my fast pace.
Its all back to the drawing board for me :).

Race 1:
Had a long first gear what resulted in a very slow start with a rwd. I lost many places.
During the race i lost many times my concentration what ended in a 11th or 12th place.

Race 2:
Had a better start and a better setup. The car was only 0.8 seconds slower then the leader in the first stint. I pitted early to get not to much difference in tyrewear, and changed only the rear tyres. After the pit i still had a pace of 1:29 high.
this brought me to the 5th place.

Well i am happy with the result.
As it was a fun race. I still would like to mention this to the drivers:
- its not allowed to defend the racing line on a straight by swerving to the right and left. If you decide to go inside then stay there. Don't bring the car back !

Well cya all next week!
