Poll - Which motion / tactile software do you use?

Hey guys,

I am doing a little research for an article regarding what type of motion / tactile software people are using with their motion rigs.

Which motion / tactile software do you use?

-Simtools
-Simracing Studios
-Simhub
-SimVibe
-Other .........please mention what software you are using.

Could you please vote for the software you are currently using and if you have time, add a comment about your experience and if you have a wish list.

Thanks in advance guys. Cheers, AussieStig

SimHub ShakeIt Bass Shakers, using custom effects,
concentrating on useful (rather than immersive or realistic) feedback.
I did not like SimVibe (bundled with Sim Commander for AccuForce),
which IMO did not offer helpful feedback and lacked flexibility.
I use Simracing Studios' ShakeSeat for 4-corner loaded wheel slips,
but got neither their software nor electronics.
In addition to the 4 pucks in that cushion, I have one exciter on the brake pedal
and a pair of exciters at the lower seatback providing horizontal shaking
for unloaded rear wheel slip (e.g lift-off oversteer).

FWIW, these tactile effects are IMO less helpful than active shoulder harness tensioners.

SimHub for my shakers (4 on my seat and 1 under my pedals), SimDash for my 4 fans (either as a wind simulator or as car ventilation, controllable from my button box) and SimTools for my NjMotion Compact-R base.

I used to use SimVive but switched to SimHub.

I switched to SimHub because it is more reliable, but it's evolved and is now more feature rich.

Behringer NX4-6000 tactile amp.
Butt Kicker Concert mounted to my seat
2 x Aura Pros under my isolated foot plate.
1 x Aura Pro mounted to the 40x80 that my H pattern shift is mounted to.

Running SimCommander for my G-Belt.
Running the NLR software for my NLRv3.

Simcommander for : GS-5 , AccuForce, Buttkickers
Simhub : Windsim, Buttkickers
SimFeedback : SFX100 + 4-belt tensioner

Here's the interesting part :

I use both SImHub and SimCommander4 to power my 3 mini LFE's, BK Advance and BK LFE. It turns out that you can easily mix and match the various effects and use both programs together. :D

SimHub is super easy for controlling the overall volume with a rotary on the centerconsole.

Sim hub, running……
Buttkicker x1 bolted to my sim lab gt1 evo ( under seat)
7” usb dash ( for an array of dash’s)
Led “gearpod”
Led “ flag pod “
23 Buttonbox
Led sequential rev lights
I have been using all this gear on sim hub for just over a year now and I have to say that it completely adds to the immersion and has run faultlessly

hello, does not generate conflict simhub with simtools ? I use both and if I launch simhub first I lose movement in the engines....
