Hi
I'm looking for people to help test a new racing management game (F1, Indycar, GP2, the lot) which is currently at the beta testing stage.
It is an online massively multi-player game in which you have to prepare all aspects of your team before then, using a live feed, altering your strategies during practices, trials and races.
It follows the same system as the official F1 live timing website.
Anyway the game is still under development and anyone who can help out testing would be gratefully received.
Click here if you want to lend a hand: http://pitstopboss.co.uk/?ref=http://racedepartment.com/
Thanks!

Hi to everyone

Hi everyone,
Lee Roby, aka Supportboss on PitStopBoss.
We'd like to welcome all motorsport enthusiasts to check out our game and post your views here. Any questions you have about the game will be answered as speedily as possible and all suggestions you might have will be looked at by the team.

As we're still in beta testing bug reporting is vital, so anything you find please let us know on the Bug Reports section of the forum.

Anyway, it's an absolute pleasure to be here and many many thanks to the Racedepartment team for welcoming us and being so helpful!

Cheers!

PSB Setup Discussion

Ok last night I got some tips from 2 very friendly guys and here they are:

Always save your set-ups even if they are bad because they are a head-start on the opposition at the next time you do that round.

Look in the track info, they have tips on where to put the sliders on each section eg:

Front Downforce - Medium

Also as a first run have your pace at 0% and do 16 laps on the hard tyre. You always get good feedback form the driver.

If I find any more I will add them to here. Hope this helps :) :bananamario:

This is some of the excellent work by the man behind the design and graphics on our game. You'll spot him on the game as Artboss.

Great advice Ross.
I actually do my first 7 or 8 runs on 0% pace, you'll get plenty of tips that way.
I normally manage to get above 90% setup combining the track info and the advice I get from my driver (and subsequently my pitcrew).

Please don't forget to let us know about any bugs you see or anything you think might improve the game chaps.

Ok, SirNetel has joined PitsBoss.
Just tried some practise laps, reminds me a lot to F1 manager I used to play when in high-school, but this looks a lot better and promises a lot of nice features.
Can't wait to start my own factory :D

Suggestion: Perhaps a little page where all these usefull tips are gathered? (like Ross's tips and the 'how to drive in wet conditions' page.
