Penalties handed following cheating

As probably everyone involved, we would have liked this case to be closed. However, a continued conversation with one of the penalized drivers, Eduard Batalla, has brought new, unquestionable facts to our attention. A careful investigation has revealed that the driver racing under the name "Eduard Batalla" did not participate with his usual IP to the WS Canadian GP on June 2nd. Instead, the supposed IP of Batalla was located to another country and matched the IP of another driver, who had previously been seen on the FSR hotlap server a number of times. This fact ties together with the story of Batalla, who has presented clear evidence that he was de facto working on the day and time of the event, and had no idea whatsoever that his name was being harmfully used in FSR.

With above facts considered, the league administration has no more doubts whatsoever about Batalla's innocence. Hence we offer a sincere apology and wish the best for Batalla's future racing career and wish him welcome back to this league at any time.

Regarding the driver whose IP matched Batalla's, the investigation is yet to be finished. An ongoing co-operation with this driver has already helped the league to exactly identify the cheat used and helped us in developing preventive measures. Having said that, I want to highlight that the driver in question is not and have not taken part in an official FSR race, and will not do so, regardless of how this investigation ends.

Hopefully this effort will have brought us a little closer in our pursue towards the answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe, and everything.
