PC2 pCars2 and sleep mod: does it work?

Hi, I tried to play endurance race and I like to stop the game to continue the day after.

So, I think that the best way is the PC sleep mod. Curiosely, I tried some times to enter/quit the sleep mod within few minutes and all seems to works fine. Conversely, when I enter in sleep mode for 12-24 hours (to continue my race the day after), the game simply is freezed. It was like the game was stuck in photo mode or something. I was able to change camera views, view lap cycles etc, even able to pause the game but the game is like frozen in time. I can even hear the engine, but no whay to play (nor with "P" by keybord).

Have you some tips or other solution to this problem?

A small tip: I tried to pause the game with the keyboard (P) instead of assigned key before start sleep mode. After 12h of sleep, the game seems to restart without problem hitting P... maybe is it the solution? I'll try again...
