The egt mod fixes are not working. Keeps coming up with an error looking for LOD_D.kn5

This is because it is missing the LOD_D.kn5 file in your folder

Indeed, the first patch contains only acd files or aero.ini, so you can copy directly the car_name folder in (steam)\Assetto Corsa\content\cars directory.
Be aware that that some mods need GUIDs fix and/or workarounk banks to work.
You can find them in the OP in the overview tab or in this discussion thread.

Well, it's pretty easy for a mod with a data directory.
Simply edit the aero.ini file, put 2 for the version in [HEADER], delete all the [DATA] section
The file must start like that:

[HEADER]
VERSION=2

[WING_0]

If you are lucky the car will load.

If it's an data.acd file you must decrypt the file with quickbms, modify the aero.ini and encrypt again. (the process is too long to describe)

If it crashed, check the log.txt in "Document\Assetto Corsa\logs\", and find the error.
If it's an fmod error, redo the GUIDs.TXT.
First try, keep all the "event:/cars/" part, delete all the others row. Add the comon part (you can find it in one of GUIDS posted here) and rename the "bank:/" with name of you car.
If you are lucky the car will load

if it does not, check the log.txt again. If there's a fmod event specified, you can delete it in the GUIDs.txt and try again.
If you are lucky the car will load

If it does not, you need a workaround bank.

Thx one more time, the Maserati MC12, Dallara Corvette DP and 355 Berlinetta worked, but Aston V12 Vanquish still does not works.
