F1 2012 Patch 5 missing

Steam on auto update, updated patches 1 to 4, then 6 & 7. No patch 5 . Have removed and re-installed, but same problem. If there is anybody out there who can help it would be appreciated. No answer from Steam about trying to resolve.

You don't need patch 5, since all the updates contain fixes from previous ones. Otherwise it would be strange, don't you think?

It is not always necessary to update software with each individual patch. Some patches can be cumulative (adding bit by bit, so you need the previous ones), and some patches inclusive (includes ALL previous patches).

As long a Steam has got you up to date with patch 9, you should be good to go
