Upcoming Developments - RDiLMS!

I normally link straight to the forums, but glad I didn't today. For those who do, there were a couple of interesting gems hidden in the club racing announcement:

"....and the addition of RD's first endurance series outside the walls of rFactor, the RDiLMS. The RDiLMS will bring the same superb mixed class endurance racing ethos of the RDLMS to iRacing 2.0 which boast driver swapping and night racing amongst its features!"

"Following the recent success of the iRacing club's Indy car events and the large amount of people interested in doing more with it, we also have plans brewing for a mixed road and oval league using the car and the fantastic tracks that iRacing offers. Look out for more news on this as the plans progress."

Looking forward to both of those!!

I'm sure Vette n GT40 will be closely matched. Stang is all on its own as I dont see any other car even close to its performance.

I thought I read the Ford GT will be GT2 specs. So it won't be a match with Vette I think.

+1 for Daytona

Spa and Sebring are definites.

I'm not a big fan of Road Atlanta, but Petit Le Mans is a classic.

I like Silverstone a lot, but I'm not sure about 6 or more hours there.

Would love to see a 6th race (too many good tracks for this)

6 Hours at the Glen is an annual Grand-Am classic. And as an alternate: Road America or ... Suzuka!

(please don't even think about the ALMS 6 Hours of Monterey at Laguna Seca)

Daytona is a must!
Road America is top of my list.
Sebring is awesome.
This may sound blasphemous, but I'm tired of Spa. Get's used so much.
Watkins Glen is right up there with Daytona and Road america.

I'm with Eric - no way laguna seca.

In no particular order, I'm gonna go with Daytona, Watkins Glen and Suzuka. All of these tracks would be great fun for endurance racing. And a wild card track for me would be Mosport, just cause it's one of my favorites

I like the idea of the Glen along with Daytona, never been a big fan of Sebring (when will the owners resurface it!) I also thing Suzuka would be awesome and Okoyama has a really nice flow to it.

This would be awesome! My friends and I would no doubt be interested in this. We dont have Le mans in iRacing though do we? Did i miss something? I am pretty slow so it is highly possible

Gotta do Sebring! I like the idea of doing tracks where there is a tradition of LeMans. For that reason, I think the original set is good, and think Daytona and/or the Glen are great additions.

Even though still early, Longshot Racing is excited at the possibility of participating in this newly formed league. It is likely we will be looking for drivers to field cars for this anticipated league.
Excitement is building...

The 4 initially posted (Spa, Silverstone, Road Atlanta and Sebring) I would consider swapping out RA and putting Daytona in there.

Also, I would put Suzuka forward as the 5th road track for consideration.

This is exciting. Think its iRacing only that if you get disconnected you can rejoin the race. 24hr racing becomes a virtual reality
