Hey guys

Okay here are the skins created by me over the last few weeks.

38 in total, 19 Chevrolet and 19 Peugeot.

All completely fictional of course, but I hope you enjoy them.

I have given all the cars different numbers and names from the originals in game, so you should be able to run them alongside the original skins.

Pretty new to the modding aspect on the rfactor platform, and this is my first attempt.

Haven't found a way to have the game read a new RFM file hence the reason for the new numbers and names.

Great car Patrick and thanks for your many updates to improve things, never mind the grumpy Irishman, he's just upset that he was at work. Two whole days to play with the car Jim.

And especially for Jim, I am preparing the V2.6.

I have watched many many videos and I will propose you two tyres : "origin" and "slick" (racing tyres). Second are really more close from what can be seen onboard.

How do I adjust the steering rotation in game...with the original UI you could adjust the rotation angle but now its gone? I turn full lock but its only a 1/4 turn in game?

2.6 will come soon.
First some work to propose 2 tyre versions, for leagues of instance. Soft and medium compound.

Wanted that F1-style tachometer so bad, i had a quick look in the .txt file.
So started to delete all the .ini files except for the overlay.ini.
Picked the prunn f1 2011 widget along with some other things.
Tested and yes the stuttering/lag is gone. Just here and there on Interlagos GP-track some minor fps drops.
Looking to adjust/put the widgets in place. Resolution is on 1920x1080, as i have 7680x1440
Gonna be trial and error or something or someone with knowledge would be awesome.

Theres an editor application included. Open it and you can change the resolution and set the positions of widgets in there.

Yeah the editor i found. Only had a look for 10 min or so, got rid of the helmet view and the lag.
Will have a look @that resolution later this week. Thanks for saving me some time, cheers.

Can you have a look at the left mirror please? It's not very useful now, it seems to be pointing to the wrong direction (too far left?).

Corrections and new features

- engine cooling corrected
- four compounds added for leagues : Soft, Medium, Hard and Road. Soft is suitable for qualifying only. 2 tyre files added for poeple running only with AI (Medium and road)
- 5 more skins from seb'skins (so 24 skins)
- gear box modified to have more flexibility

Open your player file and find "Self In Cockpit Rearview" change to 0 and that should do it.

Hey Patrick, great update thanks. Don't want to sound like a moaning old git, but I still feel the manual downshifts are too slow and that you are waiting too long after engaging the gear. I have had to change to these settings. The cars look and feel fantastic by the way. My go to car at the moment.

UpshiftDelay=0.25 // delay in selecting higher gear (low for semi-automatic, higher for manual)
UpshiftClutchTime=0.25 // time to ease auto-clutch in AFTER upshift (0.0 for F1 cars)
DownshiftDelay=0.25 // delay in selecting lower gear (low for semi-automatic, higher for manual)
DownshiftClutchTime=0.25 // time to ease auto-clutch in AFTER downshift (used to be SemiAutoClutchTime, note that the shift will complete significantly before the clutch is fully engaged)
DownshiftBlipThrottle=0.50

Well can say that the resolution is @7680x1440 but all widgets are in main/center screen.
Tips /suggestions on how to put some widgets in left or the right screen?
