P1-X Single Monitor and Seat Questions

Ordered my new P1-X a week ago, and now about to order several other components, but would like to hear from yall that I am ordering the right things. So, first some questions on a single monitor, and second, a question on mounting the seat I bought for the P1-X.

Single Monitor

I was going to only use VR in the cockpit but my initial experience with the Valve Index has been pretty terrible (See my other post today about blurriness/poor graphics in the Valve Index), so now deciding to go ahead and get a single monitor for the P1-X (note that I don’t have room for triples). I don’t want to spend more than about $500 on a single monitor, and want it to be 144hz/2K graphics. I had zeroed in on the following 32 inch monitor that has gotten great reviews for about $400…

I would love to get a bigger monitor, but I do want to stay away from less than 2K and less than 144hz on a single monitor, right? Meaning, a 32 inch 2K/144hz monitor would be much better for sim racing than a bigger 60hz monitor, right?

If you were using a single monitor, which one would you get within about $500?

Also, which would be better for a single monitor, the ‘Integrated monitor mount’ that attaches directly to the P1-X cockpit or the ‘Single monitor/TV stand’ that stands up in front of the P1-X?

Seat

I am getting the following seat to use on the P1-X:

It is bottom mount, and Sim-lab said to buy the 'Sparco seat slider' that Sim-Labs sells in order to mount it to the P1-X with a slider. Here is the seat slider that Sim-Lab is recommending.

Will this work for the P1-X?
Is that all I need in order to mount this seat to the P1-X?

Thanks!
Randy

I use the integrated mount with triples so it would be fine with single. The only benefit of the separate monitor stand is if you were getting motion, or if you wanted to manoeuvre your monitor to be between your wheel base and the steering wheel (more adjustability)

Hadn't thought about motion affecting it, thanks. Maybe someday will get that, but that is a long way off, spent too much on a P1-X, Accuforce V2, HE Sprints and Fantatec Shifter (not to mention a new computer and a VR headset) :) But, good to know

I really don't have room for the floor standing single monitor mount and need to use the integrated single monitor mount for the P1-X. However, i am getting a butt kicker a little later. Will the butt kicker cause the single monitor, when mounted directly to the rig itself with the integrated monitor mount, to shake and vibrate?

That depends on the mounting position and the intensity / volume you set the buttkicker to.
I bolted an Aura directly to my seat, not the rig.
With normal levels I do not have any issues.
I only had some snare from the sim shelf, not the monitor.
