Online joining

I am hosting a game ( non dedi). But when a friend wants to join he enters the password. But he can't get in. If he presses the ok button after the password the button becomes "unselectable" and after that it lights up again.

Somebody know what the problem is?

Ask him to check the ping. It'll likely be about 5000 if you're hosting it from your PC. I think you can configure the firewall to allow it to work, but it will be laggy.

Yes it's 5000. So i can never host a game that works?
If i set a dedi server it's also 5000.

I had this issue, never resolved it.. was on a LAN or over the internet.. He had to make a game everytime, and even then sometimes it didnt work..

check the usual firewalls etc

Thats just weird that you can no race with your friends when making a private room.

Have you forwarded the ports (as per the Manual) in your Router and\or software Firewall?
