Old Racing Club threads

We are setting up some races for the coming saturdays in december 2009.

When there are sufficient drivers and enough interest we will continue in the next year.

The races will be held on saturdays. (X-mas let it be X-mas)

Upcoming saturday we'll hope to held a race (our first race) on Spa with the Porsche GTR3 cup.

Servername : RACEDEPARTMENT.COM GTR2

Class : Porsche GT3-cup
Track : Spa-Francorchamps GP 2004
Weather: Dry

Event start :20:00 GMT.

Practise : 20 minutes
Qualification : 20 minutes
Warm-up : 5 minutes
Race : 20 laps

Notes: about 45 minutes race with a mandatory pitstop, and standing start.

A good race overall, good way of spending an hour or two

Bit wee with the starting thingy, making everyone loose their grid-positions...

Oh, and Neil: Sorry about that thing at the end of the straight, didn't know it was that bad... Thought you escaped off with a dented rear-bumper and a spin :/
Thought i had cleared your rear, untill we hit the braking zone... Sorry again

Depends how long saint Nicholas stays .......in Holland it's a tradition to celebrate this day with our (younger) kids.

Its the same old story again. Everybody wants GTR2 back, we put in a lot of efforts in getting the server up and running again. Stefan and Freddy setup the events and after round 1 we are stuck with a five drivers again

It is a big shame there isn`t more drivers who have sign in!!!!

I personally know atlest 5 drivers who should been around if they not had other races this Saturday, so hopefully will all look better next week.

Myself would have driven Extremes, but I had Nigel A to jump in and take over my car.

i've experienced the same problem last time i've try to keep the GTR2 club alive here,after the first event ,only 4/5 sign ups per races and the club was die in 2 or 3 weeks....
