i5 4690K @ 4.4GHz, GTX970, forget about it until I at least get a new graphics card.

That will run vr just fine! You may need to reduce your performance settings but itll run fine.

I think it's a card first for me. But thanks for the encouragement. My favourite sim is HistorX on rF1, so there is no rush. The guys I speak to say they can't get it working in VorpX. I like rF2 also, but that is not everybody's favourite (as far as VR goes). I do race in AC also, so I am interested and I can understand how people feel that there's no going back. I'll do it at some point, but something is holding me back for the moment.

I hated the thought of it and resisted for years, right up until last may!
Even then, i still couldnt get into it, the screen door, the heat, the low res, the sickness, the clostrophobia! But now? I couldnt be without it, YOU ARE INSIDE THECAR!!!
