My experience, using Homeless, is identical to
@Mascot's. I'm also using CM for AC with the Rift set up in CM's video settings. No issues whatsoever and that applies to my experience with rFactor 2 and RaceRoom as well, although it does feel like I'm dropping a few frames on rare occasion compared to before 1.31, when all was good with the world. But it's negligible and performance is buttery smooth most of the time. (I'm not forcing ASW at 45 either)
However for 'shits and giggles' I did have a fiddle with the alternative solution last night,
https://www.reddit.com/r/oculus/comments/9odbvz/ and that too was very easy to implement and worked well with no issues. If anything I felt AC performance (through CM) was a little more consistent compared to Homeless. However, somewhat ironically, RF2's performance took a real dive for some reason.
So I ended up reverting back to Homeless and will leave it at that.
