firstly thanks to all those that turned up in skins for the nations cup, i'll pass replays over to ross to see what he can do with them.

secondly, dijon (i bet jamie knows what i'm gonna say) "I HATE THAT 2ND LEFT HANDER!!!!" :D boy could i not master that, i think as i dropped to third i locked the rear wheels and 4th was just too fast for it, needed to scrub off a bit more speed, but needed more practice. on the whole enjoyed it but must say i profited big time for the first corner incident. gonna have to watch these guys, getting very frequent.

finally magello. nice circuit, but getting tired. just could not get into the flow of the fast corners. had a wee issue with bram where i was called by the wife and pulled offline just as he decided to come over offline to get a slip streem. slight miss judge in speed and you know what happens then... WEEEEEEEEE! again sorry bram for this, in hind sight should prolly just held down esc.

chat on ts was great as usual and recommend anyone not taken part to join us, even if just to listen.

i was realy supprised when chris said it was you that caused the T1 crash, and having raced with you for a long time in new it was an error. and looking at the replay you just braked to late, easly done we`ve all done it :pound:

ceretenly made an interesting race for me, started 6th or 7th went down to 20th and still finished 7th

Thx Nigel for your help .

Dijon i arrived too late to qual or practice, managed to get rammed in a silly style at T1 (i know who you are and so do you, lack of apology isnt the RDRC way m8),had good corner speed but no matter how good a run i got out the last turn up to Tepa i was chasing,i couldnt pass, infact he pulled away a bit,a small mistake let me through, but then i put it in barriers not long after, retired and waited for Mugello.
Got a good setup ready for the race but only managed 6th to start, really great respect and good manners from everyone near me was very cool,as the guys ahead seemed to push too much too early,i suddenly found myself with a gift of the lead!,then found a really nice rythym with decent pace for a happy win in the Japan car.
Race2 from 8th another good start and sensible driving makes it all so enjoyable, really cool close fight with Patrick early on,but the next lap i binned it on the exit of the final turn,retired...i was running more hot and cold than Filipe Massa tonight ***......:p :pound:.
All seems to be well with the skins i used and saw this evening, namely Finland and Japan, saw the Welsh English Dutch Belgian all looking great! :thumb:.
Thanks again RD for another fun night.

FootNote: I think a bit of a warning from Bram early on in the evening made some difference thereafter, unfortunate it had to come to that, but sometimes things get a bit out of hand at the starts, the enjoyment factor goes way up for everyone when we all keep a bit calmer for a lap or so.

Hi all back from the land of the Dead :)

I gotta agree with a few of the guys I think that the first lap of these sprint night is too hard and I am still trying to learn I find that the banging just puts me on edge, I'm ok after even the first half a lap some grip is coming to me....

Anyway I really tried to make it and I am sure I've been on the start grid before and seen ppl pop in and out again??? Anyway I had just under 1 mintute on the grid left and I hear we needed more fuel and so I thought I'll pop back to setup and fill it some more :( Nope not good...
I couldn't rejoin the grid... THEN I am chatting away prior to R2, and it's close to start ppl go a bit quiet I type GLA saw someone else type this and hit race Blop I was only one on the grid...
So I return to the pits after race starts to find everyone is on the grid no cars???

Look at my cable modem and it's doing this thing it does when searching for signal and it's teaming rain outside ...

Some fool just put a JCB through a cable ....

Back now bit late but thought I'd say that at least R1 Looked GOOD!!! From the pits anyway....

Second time this month the cable has been cut.. But they are tunneling under the river say 12 Km's from here :D maybe I should expect this.. I hope they finish soon I know that they are ahead of schedule...

Cyas, G...

OOpppP.S. :) I didn't see before that ppl r using TS now great as when I first started here nobody was in there much... TY...

It was good racing with you Carlos shame we could not keep it up till the end of the race but at that corner i had already turned in and you came in to deep and to fast LOL straight in front of me so we collided and off you went to my relief :D but you are a very fair driver and look forward to racing against you soon i hope.

As for the incidents i like to think these are not done on purpose and that people where just misjudging the brakes on these minis but i found that we all make mistakes and a simple sorry at the time is all it takes to resolve this rather then there being some bad blood both on the track and then on the forums.

Race 1 at Djoin was dam annoying, some guys in front of me (top 6) got together in turn 1 and so had a sideways car and nowhere to go, so rammed straight in losing my front wing and then hit from the back breaking my suspension :(

Got new wing but the rear end would not stick and so ended up with 4 new front wings that race and 10th place finish!

2nd race went better and people kept calm, unfortunately keith lost it in that dreaded left hander he doesnt like and again I had no where to go and had to get new front wing again! no rear damage though thank god and so car was great after that. finished 8th.

Mugello is a fantasic track, really nice and flowing and enjoyed driving this one. had a good race 1 with fighting with people and only 1 mistake to put me down into 8th place.

race 2 from pole and then had ludwig after me, I must be doing something wrong on turn 1 as I braked normally and he came steaming up the outside and still made the apex in front of me! crazy. got it a bit wide later on and broke my car :(

Good fun though overall.
