Great for the fast lap, but in the race this setup eat the tyres.

- Usable for 25% with no probs. 50% race would prolly require 3 pits (insted of normal 2). This setup wears tyres pretty heavily tho. But on the other side you are pretty fast which could compensate the wear :)

Qualy: 1.31.423 (with a racing wheel)

So here is my setup for 100% dry race with the Ferrari. Gearbox is based a bit on Alonso's lap this year at Nurburgring, and it is very good. The car is a bit oversteer when exiting a corner but you can control it easily with the throttle and shift up sooner.
The key about a good lap and a good pace is probably the first sector with turn 1, 2, 3 and 4. About kers, i'm using it like this in qualy:
25% in the small straight after turn 4
25% when up the hill before Schumacher corner
25% when up the hill on the back straight (just before the chicane)
25% just before the start/finish line.

During the race, I think using the kers to up the hills is better, especially with full fuel tank. So I don't use the Kers during the small straight after turn 4 and these 25% left are use just after Schumacher corner to up this massive hill faster.

Hope this will help you :)

Gigisan, I really love your setups... I´ve tried this one, and while I find it quite good for Qs, it is a bit problematic in race... Gears related. I find that with the car fully loaded of fuel, I can´t even get to 7th gear in the main and back straights...it hardly even revs enough in 6th gear. So I have everyone passing my like planes as soon as they get DRS. I´ve tried to notch down 6th and 7th gears quite a lot, and though the car accelerates quite a lot better, the AI still seems to fly past me...

Cueceleches I ve just read what u ve said and I want to ask u for further informations. Did u have raced in career at 25%? In the case as soon I can I will control it and see where I can improve. Thanks

Well, no, I race 50%, but as I said, I was able to mitigate a bit the low acceleration at top speeds by notching down 6th and 7th gears... I just finished the race and fianlly won, though thanks to a different tyre strategy than the AI... Still, my fastest race lap was 0.8 seconds slower than the AI´s one, while I got the pole in Q3 almost a second ahead of the second... I think your setup is really awsome in almost every turn (slow, medium and fast) with nice grip and stability, but it lacks something in the fastest parts of the circuit, where the AI is able to catch me rather easily.
Oh, and tyre wear is quite nice also, I was able to extend my options by one lap.

ok thanks for the consideration anyway u have to know that I always prefer to put the gears a little longer in case u catch drs zone in race and can boost more speed without reach revs limitis but I guess this time I ve pushed a little too much, thanks for ur help and if u like my setups please follow me and hit like under them.

by far the best setup for this tarck....keep going..your setup was faster by a second than the others..
and a little note , the F1 2012 had many setups ,it was at least 5 page in the forum..but this game has just 1 page for every track and no one to make a comparison..i would make one , i use the keyboard for a controller so the timings are very bad like 1:35:438 for your setup
