NOTICE GTL Events are now underway again

All, until the RD server issue is resolved (or of course the lobby magically comes back up), we cannot run any RD GTL events.

I'm obviously sorry for this state of affairs, but I cannot diagnose or fix the server - that's way beyond my meagre knowledge - so all I can do is what I'm doing.

And that is keep trying to get hold of the people who do know what they're talking about, and keep you posted as to any updates or changes.

Have you considered using Hamatchi? Is it feasible/possible for you to use it?

In case you don't know what it is, it's a virtual lan utility that allows direct connection over ip. In the good old days we used it exclusively for our league because it was just easier and also worked when the auth servers were down.

or you could use the historic gt mod in rfactor

Or the P&G mod for GTR2, requires a GTL disc I believe but GTR2 got a patch from somewhere recently to fix the domain change.

We will only be using the original GT Legends game. Not everyone has rF, and Evo has too many freeze crash issues, and, frankly, GTL is the best anyway.

Once we get some movement on our RD servers that will be what we'll use.
