F1 2013 Not sure what to call this

Hi All

i use a g27 but just the pedals and wheel, not the shifter with the extra buttons. my problem is trying to navigate some of the menus, for example when i finish a race i can watch a replay but it says to press button 2, well i dont have a button 2! any idea if there is a file i can modify to change this to some keyboard control?

Some buttons cannot be remapped in game, such as the Start Button.

Anyway the file that you want to edit is G27 Racing Wheel.xml, which is in your game install > actionmap folder

Bear in mind when editing the file, the button numbers in the xml file are different to the Windows numbering (and game) numbers

Button 2 in the game = Button 1 in the xml file. All the buttons are 1 lower in the xml file than the game.

So in the game where you see Button 18 to continue, that is button 17 in the xml file.

Essentially numbers start at 1 in the game, but zero in the xml.

Whenever you edit this file, you must start with your keyboard, select the Keyboard as your controller, then reselect the G27 again.

This forces the game to re-read the settings in the xml file
