F1 2016 No virtual mirror ?

Why is there no virtual mirror ? Or am i missing something ?

I cant race properly because i cant see what is happening behind me when in the cockpit. I could crank up the fov so i could use the actual mirrors but i really dont want to drive with that high of a FOV cause it makes it look and feel very unrealistic.

There has never been virtual mirrors in any of this racing series (2010-2016).

Just the real mirrors and proximity arrows to indicate where a close car is.
