No mesh visible in the 3d view

Hi there,

Forgive me if i'm asking something stupid. I can't see the mesh (or whatever you want to call it) in the 3D view. It would be very nice to have it visible in order to arrange the slopes in the terrain. I'm sure it must be a checkbox somewhere but I can't find it...
