GT7 No Jan 23 update?

Well, apparently Kazunori Yamauchi didn't intend for GT7 to have monthly updates! it just turned out that way for a few... well, near every one so far, and we, the purchasers of the game shouldn't expect the monthly treatment in the future, though, it's also been stated that there may be occasions where more than one update could raise it's head in the course of a calendar month!

Interestingly, for me at least is that Kaz doesn't just want to be known for the GT series, he'd like other projects added to his portfolio, (well, Kylie made the jump from Neighbours so why not try) but will this affect Gran Turismo titles for the future or will another talent sit in the vacated chair? and if someone does will the fans of GT want the 'franchise' to remain as it is, take a step back to pre GT5 days, or perhaps slide into being a more 'playful' game to rival Horizons?
