nK pro PORTS to HOST A RACE. PORTS FORWARDING.
After a lot of searching on the web, I got the LATEST VERSION(as of 2_14_11) of nKPro to work on my machine, so I can host and drive at the same time.
This requires you to be able to "port forward" on your modem/router to your nKPro PC.
1st- I tried 27000 TCP. I could see servers and join! Could not host!
Now I wanted to host and race. (On the same machine)
4501/4502 did not help me. I could still see list and join, but list did not show "MY SERVER".
Next was port 9500. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My buddy could see it in the server list and he could join!
I added 9500 to both UDP and TCP in my router! Not sure which did the trick because I added both.
I hope this helps others trying to host and race on the same PC!
