Fixed a bug where custom input mappings would not save successfully Does this mean I can save a custom mapping even if I dont have enough buttons on my wheel to map now or is that still broken
Should be 2010 American Police Interceptor. Very tempted to get this, is it worth bothering with a wheel though? seems more like a gamepad game...
Always amuses me that the Console Racers like GT and Forza generally have some visually amazing content with the latest up to date cars, stunning tracks and driving on open roads etc that a hardcore Sim Racer like myself will never get to drive at a somewhat realistic speed with great physics like that of Automobilista, R3E etc. unless I purchase said games....I guess I am in the minority.....until Reiza 2017 gets here.
If anyone could test if there is multi controller support after this update, it would be much appreciated. G27 + V3 clubsport pedals here.
lol and yes, not an Australian interceptor. These are those horrible American police cars that have been in every hollywood production in the last 20 years!
Does not work, using G27 pedals with a tx and have to unplug pedals, otherwise the game gets mightiliy confused, even remapping the buttons on my tx, game forgets it the next time I play, even though I saved it. it's a hot mess for now, for me anyway. Stuck playing with the pedals that came with the tx for now. Might work on other configs, dunno.
Yeah, hopefully, not sure how microsoft let this one escape from their "barn" in this state, I do enjoy it, but to call it a triple A title on the PC in this state, nah. Guess they will patch it properly at some point. Besides the controller support, the game itself runs awful also, at least for me, and just about 9 out of 10 people judging by their forums.
Damn, that's no good for me, I don't even have any Thrustmaster pedals to use, as bought just the T300 wheel base and Leather 28 GT wheel seperately, as already had aquired the Fanatec CSR Elite pedals used via eBay...
Would like to see them fix ffb on Xbox's version also, for some reason Turn10 just doesn't seem to have knowledge and ability to make decent ffb for wheels in their games. They have been in business so long that its hard to understand why they doesn't learn those things, and if they admit they they don't know what to do, why they doesn't hire someone to do that. And with controller there should be much more vibration feedback when just driving on tarmac, now there's now vibration on that situation so it feels like car is floating, before you get feedback from bumb/grass/throttle or brake.
I don't understand why when trying to break into the PC gaming market turn 10 or playgound games didn't think to do any research into controller setups but yet smaller dev teams seem to get it right 1st time typical from Microsoft really!! i'm not a dev but how hard can it be to allow separate controls I mean they all plug in through USB lets hope they sort it out or they will not be getting my money and I would imagine there are lots more gamers holding back for the same reason so how can they gauge anything from these releases (apex, FH3)
If you have Windows 10 get the FREE Forza Motorsports 6: Apex. No open roads, all real tracks but the physics and FFB might surprise you plus the graphics are amazing. Not every wheel is supported yet but my T300RS is one that is. Did I mention it is FREE for Windows 10 users.
Thanks for taking the time to reply....Yes, I know it's free for Win10, but I am still on Win 7 pro because my motherboard is not fully supported in Win10, older mobo...as I found this out when upgrading to Win10 and one SATA port on the mobo did not work...the one SATA port that I use in combination with another SATA port to achieve SSD Caching...lol I will upgrade to Win10 when I can afford a larger SSD.
Strange they release this on PC and never tested mix wheel + pedals? What happens if you add another brand shifter? PC blows up?
Indeed simple convert of gamepad algorithms to wheel could be surprising... Bad luck T10/Playground have no will to translate that physics to wheel, since Forza 3 this game is definitely better with gamepad (brilliant vibrating triggers!). Will that ever change? Don't think so...
