New Features added

The forum update of today brought a couple of new features that you might like:

• Selective quoting of message. You can use the good old trusted way of quoting or.... do selective quoting: simply highlight a piece of text and insert it into a quote (can even quote from entire different forum posts)
• Online status indicator. You post avatar now shows a green light when you are online. Handy to see if friends are online.
• New options to create polls, try them
• Status update box on the forum main page where your latest profile posts are shown.
• Many more smaller improvements you'll discover by actively participating on the forums
• New prefixes for modding forums. You can now quick select and filter modding categories by their prefix. The different categories are highlighted above the modding threads. Of course for a better overview use the downloads section instead.
• Box showing latest submitted videos and photos (note to self and @Dave Stephenson we need to optimize the images)

Maybe it`s just me, but I`m missing a step in the upper navigation for the online racing forums...

It was Online Racing and under "Online Racing" all other "Online Racing" related forums...

yep, but it was there...with my 1024x798 settings, too.

Ah thats it then The current width is 1058px which means the site resizes to fit your screen. What you can do is clicking the Hamburger Icon which should give you a drop menu.

I will create a new narrow version of the site today as not all customizations fitted in earlier which will be capped on 1020px width so it also shows on smaller devices without resizing.

Not really, because there is "Online Racing" and "Premium". "Online Racing" points to the calender module (http://www.racedepartment.com/pages/calendar/)...

Hehe not fully, removed the live stream button to create some space. We haven't got a live stream up 24/7 so we don't really need it. Need to look for a better solution for this though.

@Juergen Herrmann when you are browsing the site on a device with a screen smaller than 1024px please use the RD (Narrow) style via the selector on the left bottom of the page.

When browsing on a larger screen pick the wide style instead to avoid the problems you had before.

Freed up some extra navbar space for smaller screens by using font awesome logo's that replace the inbox and alerts.

I must say, at first I had some issues getting used to the new layout, but to be honest, it has grown on me.

It's probably just a slow internet connection, but I'm sometimes having problems with RD wide not formatting itself correctly.
