Need help with item.

Hello.
I have an item I need converted to use in btb.It was created in google sketchup.
I cant get it to pack correctly for use (crashes xpacker).
If anyone can help with this small item it would make my day.

You need to save the project as Sketchup 6. I've heard that collada export from S7 had not worked properly with BTB/XPacks.

Nice tutorial from Barbje_Keller how to make objects and then export from S6 and make an xpack from the object.

That stinks....
I tried using 6 but it does not work very good.
Circles do not auto divide themselves for eracing..Lines do not intersect the same..
What took me 15 min in 7 is going to take me all day in 6.
7 is a totally different program as as far as ease of use.
Wish there was a way to make my current skb files work.
I have so much to do with the track taking time to learn yet another
program for one important part is going to set me back a bit.

I thought there was an option in S7 to save the file as S6. I don't know, I use S6.

I still can't figure it out.
Is there a step by step guide on how to get a sketch up item into btb?

I cant follow those vids as I cant see exactly where everything needs to be set to get it to work correctly.
I gave it a shot but am getting error messages when I try and save the dds.in adobe.
Can't I just use exactly what I drew in skup and get it into xpac?

What error message (if any) are you getting when the XPacker crashes?

I can now get xpac to take the object file.
It shows as a x-pack in btb but when you select the x-pack
there are on objects to place.

Getting closer I guess....
I am not using any self made textures as of now.
Just direct ports of the object/colors from skup.
Maybe I need to create textures?

No they won't work without textures. I had a look at that file and it has no mapping either. The only way for you to texture it is just make color pics for each color it uses. A white pic 128 x 128 .dds a blue and a grey to replace the ones it has.
