Need a new TV for my little sim rig

Not a lot of room to play with, so only one (none of this 3 monitor malaky for me sadly). Was looking at this https://www.amazon.co.uk/Toshiba-32L3863DB-1080p-Smart-Freeview/dp/B07F799JCB but it's only 50hz, much of an issue?

I could go up to £350 and mainly want 1080p, 32" (dimensions similar to the Toshiba), multiple connections (as many as possible for longevity), ideally VGA, HDMI (of course), scart, composite.

My current LG (26") is going HDMI's gone (only 1) so I have to use composite for XB360 and PS3, and I still have my PS2 connected (hence scart!).

Does it have to be a TV?

because you get much more bang for the buck on Pc monitors for that size

32" 1080P 144hz and curved. Pretty good for sim racing.

32" 1440p @ 144hz, even sharper and still fast

32" 1440p 75hz, if you dont want 144hz.

32" 4K 60hz if you are ok with 60hz but want very high resolution
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-LU32J590UQUXEN-32-Inch-Ultra-Monitor/dp/B07BVXGBHT/ref=sr_1_20?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1546517381&sr=1-20&keywords=32"+144hz

If you really want to have a TV, I would recommend the ones that do 1440P @ 120hz. But they are all 55" and above and cost from 700€ upwards. You do get your money's worth though. Super big, sharp, fast, and with HDR.

thanks for the reply :). I sort of want a TV because of the connection options with regards to scart and old consoles (although if I'm honest I havn't fired up the PS2 for several years!). Larger TVs won't fit the space I have for my rig so 32 is really the max I can squeeze in there. But those monitors look damn good! Cheers :)

I tried a TV for a monitor and ended up returning it. To much blurring during fast transitions etc. I have an LG ultrawide and love it but I use VR most of the time.

the ones I posted are 120hz with 9~13ms of input lag. They are better than most gaming monitors. Im really considering it

If you want to use your old consoles you can always buy a monitor plus a scart to hdmi converter.
