Honestly, y'all over across the pond have it good with a lack of commercial breaks interrupting the races. We have it so bad here that NASCAR literally introduced 2 guaranteed cautions just so the broadcast partners (Fox Sports and NBC) could make more money shoving more ads down the throats of those watching on TV.
I'm always kinda split on how I feel though: Either I watch the races behind a significant paywall or I get ads. I personally like the US approach a bit more since it means I can easily watch even the big events like the indy 500, but I can imagine that if I lived in the US and watched US racing most of the time (rather then ocasionally after the fact like I do now) I'd be sick of it and prefer the European approach :p

We should create an greenland-iceland championship so we can do a middle-ground approach :p

Hey, woah.... It's every 8th lap! :p Honestly, y'all over across the pond have it good with a lack of commercial breaks interrupting the races. That is not true.At least not for all countries "across the pond". F1 is being broadcasted in my country by the national television channel. Every 4-5 laps there's a commercial break. I don't blame them though, there's literally NOTHING to show most of the time.
I watch NASCAR regularly and i might go as far as to say that it's way more tolerable than F1. At least the way it's being broadcasted in my country.

704 Games , is that not an extension of EA sports? anything that's EA Sports " Its not in the Game " motto. Always disappointed. Geared for the 6 to 12 year old market and purely wall street lets make a buck approach. Lets bring a Mule to a Horse race.

ACC benefits from being highly specialised and focussing on just one (two) racing series/classes. The result is the sim that does its simulated objects GT3 and GT4 better than anyone else. Now imagine that specialisation and dedication by Kunos given to Nascar. Sim car technology would be of another world. However, they would need to substantially improve their AI coding skills, this is where ACC is robust, but not special: too pacifistic. But then, even Raceroom's AI - imo the genre benchmark - leaves a bit to be desired on oval-like tracks, so new approaches seem to be on order for AI on ovals. But else... well, one can dream... I take it then that for Nascar offline, Papyrus Nascar 2003 still is the final wor(l)d then.

2003. Think of it.

They said this is just to give them extra time to make NH6, they want to build the game on a new engine

in Short they took NH4 reskinned for 2020 drivers & added practice to game & that's it. I have both version & there basically identical. This should have been a DLC not to insult there fans. The game is fun once your racing but to ask full price for this staming p.o.s. rip off is just that. I want 704 to succed as well but when they dont listen to the community that actually races there doomed to fail. 704 here is a suggestion take NASCAR 2003 and basically copy that game & update to todays standards & you have a winner. GUARANTEED!!! NASCAR 2003 was way ahed of its time. TAKE NOTES 704.

I see this and wonder how we can't have an indycar game when that would atleast provide some basis for allot of road courses in America that basically don't exist if you don't drive in a sportsman club

And they actually didn't do a good job in reskinning with "NASCAR Heat 4" Logo on the Trophies in NH5. That was just embarrassing.
