There is a working download hosted here plus an alternative link posted by Graham. If it then still doesnt work it must be something on the users end.

Dont use download managers is the only tip i can give as none of modern websites allow those anymore.

Guys we at GT Sim Racing have a number of members whom use F Truck.

Each and everyone of us have issues with stalled / failed DL's on this file. Now I'm not disputing Brams kind words of stability of RD servers etc etc etc, however, I use Chrome with NO DL MANAGER. I never have never had these issue's like this, except on this particular file!

Can I implore Bram and co. that there simply is an issue of sorts. Can I ask you guys to kindly provide this file with an alternative DL path such as the ever reliable MediaFire.

will look some more and ask a few questions:)

I'm getting the same problems as Phill. :(
Maybe it is something to do with us being in Australia with our inferior internet service.

    I'm using IE10

Though all links work with my Internet Explorer 10 <spit!>

It really is the pig's ear of browsers, and that's why I have to <spit!> each time I mention it ...... ;)

I never use it, and get angry when some piece of software on my PC opens a IE <spit!> window when using a help file or something like that, when is it not (and never will be) my default browser.

I have only ever used it for a browser based golf game, so I could set the game to the homepage, and not effect my normal browsers. Firefox, Chrome, Opera.

This effects ALL races, no matter what track you use

Browse to your game install folder.

    GSC2012 > userdata > YOURNAME > Open the YOURNAME.plr file in a text editor

    I think it is lines 128-129 :-

    Code:
    QUICK RaceTimeScale="-1" // -1 = use race distance percentage, 0 - 60 = multiply time by given factor
    MULTI RaceTimeScale="-1"
Use the value 0 (zero) to disable time scaling, where it is currently -1 (the default)

Any value different from 0 or -1, will be the actual time scaling, so a value of 2 would be 2 x Real time.

Save the file, and ensure it is saved as yourname.plr not yourname.txt or youname.plr.txt

If you need an excellent free text editor (I hate wordpad and notepad), then try Notepad ++

    Hi,
    It's strange.
I had a ATI 4850 and this track was beautifull

Now with a GTX 780, a lot of textures twinkle (on the track at some points and off track (tribuns) etc...

    Do you know why?

PS: I have no issues with the original tracks.

On an old card in days of yore, I would put that down to mip-mapping, but I am not sure that term is used anymore.

Nowadays I think it could be down to the type of anti-aliasing used. Multisampling, Supersampling, and Adaptive Multisampling.

In games generally I have found that Adaptive Multisampling tends to cause the most problems visually.

I can't say that is your problem for sure, just that you could try changing the AA sampling method used, not the level like x2 or x4, just the sampling method.

    Good luck :)
