My Pedal->to->Base(t300 Ferrari GT) cable ripped off right behind plastic connector @base-end

wheel: standard T300 Ferrari GTE with standard pedals (2 pedals, break and throttle/gas)

Hi @RD community,

due to some health issues i had lately i was not really able to handle some basic physical things.
So at some point i cause the wheelbase to fall of a table causing the pedals cable that was still attached to the base to ripp off. the cable ripped off right inside the little plastic connector that is plugged into the base so i cannot just connect the two parts of the cable.

I just want to ask if anyone knows what kind of cable this is and if i can maybe get some replacement that i can solder/combine with the existing cable. (or maybe somone knows if i can get such a plastic connector somewhere or what it is called in the first place - if it is no unique design by thrustmaster).

so yeah if anyone has some information or idea drop a message :) im neither into electronics and not a real sim racer person so keep it simple ;-)

The connector is a "Modified Modular Jack", as originally used on DEC equipment.

Connectors are available for purchase, but a standard RJ11/RJ12 crimping probably tool won't be suitable because the offset tab won't fit. And the last time I looked specialised crimping tools were expensive, because of how niche the connector is I guess (although you may be able to modify a cheaper one perhaps).

A note / warning - That link says that some Lego Mindstorms sets use similar plugs. That's true, but the tab is offset to the other side. So be careful not to buy those.

Your best bet might be to try and find a cable with the jack already fitted. I've seen them from time to time on eBay, try searching for something like "thrustmaster pedal cable".

hi and thanks for the answer and information,

i was wondering if i could buy T80 Pedals, cut off that cable and use that. from the photos i saw it looked like it could work but im not sure.
for 17 Euro i could get an adapter from thrustmaster that is meant to connect pedals of ie. logitech with T300, so i could could the adapter-end off and use that cable for repair maybe.

Can i use TX pedals with T300, because i might have a good offer for that? i could then wait for something to show up @ebay to repair the other pedals for as little money as possible
