Hi.

I just purchased automobilista during the steam summer sales (complete pack with all dlc for 20€).

I love it.

Very fun game to drive.
Very original choice of cars and track selection 'plus of course many mods available).
It remains me the good old time of Rfactor, and I may prefer it against Rfactor 2 5I struggle with many aspects of this one).

I tested so far the boxer, the vintage F1, and some othe cars on various tracks.

The sound are good and the graphics very nice .

Of course I am more in ACC and AC/raceroom, and I will probably not use much, but again I absolutely love it .
I will probably dedicate it to the vintage F1 racing against AI for the fun , because the cars are just wonderful to drive .

At this price it is one of my best purchase of all time.
I will for sure purchase automobilista 2 in a year or two.

I reckon this ole sim is like iracing without the subscription model.

So underrated.

Niels did a tremendous amount of work with the physics,the cars feel so alive.

Great ffb ,included sweet fx to put some botox on the original game AMS was derived from and the selection of cars is incredible,the Brazillian Stock Cars which was the original name of this sim are some of the best fun you can have in simracing.

I have not dipped my toes into AMS2 because of the Slightly Mad engine.

I don’t get a direct feel with the PC2 driving experience,like the cars have some jelly on the tyres,it has a vague feel with the tyres on the tarmac.

I don’t see any reason why I should give AMS1 the boot over AMS2 on my hd.

But then again I don’t own AMS2 so I maybe wrong.

Does AMS2 have a direct feel like AMS1,Iracing and RFactor 2?

Assetto Corsa has a terrific feel when I disable all of that post processing ffb jiggery pokery(gamma and lut) for my g27.

It feels quite lovely after that and the rattles are very minimal.
