Multiplayer with a VPN?

Can anyone get MP to work with a VPN?

I have tried a couple different ones and have had no luck. I get to the choose livery screen and it won't go any farther.

Let me know if anyone uses one and can get it to work. REALLY want to MP race and just am having no luck.

just tested and it works no problems with my vpn activated.

https://www.privateinternetaccess.com/ just using their supplied software on the auto connect setting, i find i get pretty close to my full speed of 76mb while connected to the vpn.

Thanks...I just don't get why the vpn I use doesn't seem to work. Tunnelbear it is making me think it could be my computer or router, but I have tried it all naked, firewalls off etc.. and no still no joy.

what is your issue with mp without vpn? what happens when you click on it ?

It is blocked by my ISP - I live overseas and I live and work in the same spot so my company controls the internet. They don't let us have fun.

Basically I am dying to MP and I can't I feel so left out, lol.

Yeah, the majority.

I would have assumed a VPN would work no problem....a friend who races here has the same problem, which may or may not mean mean it is not my router/computer etc...

I have tried a few combinations.

OMG, I got it to work with private internet access!

Must be some of the settings. It did the same thing as my other VPN's but on the second click it worked!
