F1 2010 MS wheel switches its self off ???

Hi,

Any idea why my MS wheel might be turning itself off during races. Ok so i dont have the Power Adaptor plugged in (only the controller power pack) but it never happens to me while playing Race Pro. Its getting more and more frequent and very annoying as it can cause chaos in races and costs me and others positions and front wings. Anybody else experiance this or is it just my poxy steeringwheel/game/xbox?

My xbox pad does this all the time. Doesnt like violent movements for some reason.
