    There's the difference between guys like you and casual racers like me Mr C. I will practice during the actual practice period and that is it. I don't have the time to do anything else. Family, work and other things come first I'm afraid. That's just the way it is for me. Don't get me wrong though, I wouldn't have it any other way. Sim racing is purely a side hobby for me to have a go at when I have nothing better to do. :thumbsup:
    To be honest, it's like choosing 150% AI skill level racing against you guys. No chance. :sick::D

    BMW M1 Procar - Norisring - 52.189

    Tips:
    - big power no brakes, really no brakes! brake WAY early!!!
    - corner entry understeer if you enter to fast, be slow;
    - this car is all about corner exit and raw acc., no mid corner speed, no late braking;
    - you have to tame this car, it's a bit wild at the exit of the corners if it's too wild use 2nd instead of 1st.

    DTM15 - Audi RS5 - Norisring - 48.402

    Tips:
    - usually I like the Audi more than Merc/BMW but on this track it just doesn't feel right in any way, mid-corner understeer, not very stable on the brakes and I tried all i know(little as I know) but still nothing, maybe I was overdriving the car, but LB don't lie;
    - while unstable on the brakes you can actually brake quite late;
    - the wing is 5(minimum) you can increase that to 8 and you will not lose any noticeable top speed, increasing the wing will add more understeer;
    - be aggressive on downshift;

    DTM15 - Mercedes AMG C63 - Norisring - 48.296

    Tips:
    - very stable under braking and confident inspiring;
    - a bit of powerslide at the exit so watch out on the s'es exit;
    - use every inch/cm of the track, it counts allot;

    Audi TT Cup - Monza Junior - 50.923

    Tips:
    - use the boost at the exit of Parabolica corner(last corner) when you hit 5th gear 2 times/lap.Don't use it on the back straight on Leaderboard racing, on online racing use to defend on back straight;
    - take an early apex at T1, be it in 3ed gear or 2nd;
    - if you don't like the brake bias change it to 62/48.

    WTCC14 - Honda Civic - Bathurst - 2.04.510

    Tips:
    - long track, focus is important;
    - liftoff oversteer to control the car mid-corner;
    - top of the mountain is flat out be sure that you have the right line;
    - going down the mountain before the long straight use only half break for the corners so you don't lock up;
    - have confidence for the fast chicane at the end of the lap.

    WTCC14 - Honda Civic - Sonoma WTCC - 1.37.041

    Tips :
    - nasty piss of track, for T1 the car needs to be straight anything else and you fly into the wall;
    - the first chicane take a late apex at the exit;
    - long downhill left-hander smooth on the brakes, 30-40%;
    - the fast chicane at the end of the track it's flat-out ;
    - control with liftoff oversteer like always in the WTCC14 Honda.

    GTR3 RUF12RT - Sonoma Sprint - 1.10.673

    Tips :
    - lift off slightly approaching T1 to prepare the corner;
    - braking for T1 has to be done while the car is straight;
    - as long as the acc. pedals doesn't have an on/off switch under your foot you should be fine(modulate);
    - you can trail brake with this car, so use it;
    - lift off slightly for the fast chicane at the end of the lap;
    - make sure you have high corner speed, that's the trick of this car.

    :D......:cool:

    All about the Esses and the Dipper. I have so much respect for all real drivers who tackle the track. Especially the V8 supercars, those guys are absolutely insane. Greg Murphy lap of the gods anyone?

    I can record the replay of my lap if ever you guys want to see it.

    Here's the video.
    Couple of things to note. First, I hit the wall at Griffins Bend :(, lost I'd say 2-3 tenths from that impact, but didn't lose too much momentum. Had a second mistake at Forrest's Elbow. I locked the front completely so I wasn't able to hit the apex, but these cars are so stable when getting on the power that you can minimize the damage.

    Tips:
    • Turn 1, never touch the inside kerb, you will either spin or lose a bunch of time stabilizing the car. Try and get as close to the kerb as possible and then use the rest of the track and outside kerb to power out of the corner
    • With two very long straights, you're going to want long gear ratios, make sure you max them out so that you never hit the rev limiter
    • Turn 2, brake at about the 75 meter mark, be patient and turn in a little later than what you might feel is right. Turning a in a little later allows the car to catch up to the shift in momentum. Hug the kerb and put the power down.
    • On the approach to Turn 3, slam on the brakes as you round the bend, come off them gently so as to not lock the front. Turn in early and hug that inside, the corner opens up near the top so you will have plenty of space to accelerate. Once again, put the power down and trust the stability of the car.
    • Next, the most fun part of the track. :) Put your foot down and do not let up, EVER. Hit those apexes and marvel at the ridiculous amounts of downforce that these cars have. At McPhilamy Park, the downhill left hander, throw the car towards the inside. Get as close to the wall as you can.
    • Now, the Esses. You have three corners before the "Dipper". Try and brake as late as you can in the first right hander, and then downshift at the left hander, and then again at the second right hander.
    • The "Dipper". Hug the inside wall right before the Dipper to give you as much space to throw the car in there. Turn in towards the wall, and get on the power early. If you get this right, you'll come out almost completely straight and power through the second part of the corner.
    • Forrest's Elbow, very easy corner to lock the front. Brake right before the descent and shift down to 2nd gear. Make sure to come off the brakes quickly because you will lock up and ruin your run down Conrod Straight.
    • Once you get towards the end of Conrod Straight, prepare for "The Chase". Brake at 100 meter mark and aim for the tip of the inside kerb. You can run over the kerb too but it destabilize the car. Kerbs are evil here my friends. :cautious:
    • Murray's Corner, brake right before the 50, hit that apex, get on the throttle early and get to the finish line. :sneaky:
