Motec Telemetry

I have just bought this sim. Is it possible to use the Motec software like in race07 etc for telemetry.

Yep, just use the Data Acquisition Plugin for rFactor and you can do the same as with rFactor or Race07.
There is this thread http://www.racedepartment.com/game-stock-car/63104-data-acquisition-plugin-motec-i2.html that I posted in some time ago, may or may not be of use to you and I'm sure there is another thread here about Motec and GSC, although it might be in Portugese.

Thanks very much for the quick reply. I will get hold of the plugin somewhere and play around.
I may have to ask you how to change the player file to set it up, it's been a long time since I used the other sims.

If I get stuck I may ask you later if thats ok with you.

I has installed MoTeC in my GSC and it works fine.

I have got it working fine now. I noticed that there is no steering turning on the gauge displsy showing lock. Are there things different where some of the data that showed from race07 and rfactor is not saved out in stockcar.

Not sure will have to fire mine up and have a look, but here is another Portuguese page that I was also thinking of that has a template that you could try:

It may have the steering, butfrom memory it has more items... will take a closer look at mine over the weekend.

Do you know if there is another link for that template Keith, when I go there it says that I have used my daily allowance, never downloaded from them before, seems odd.

I was able to download that template again, so it might be something else with your browser or ISP.

Hi, I've got the motec installed / running now (Thanks for all the links here), but I'm not getting Steering movement or suspension movement logged, got everything else. Anyone got any ideas ? Thanks
