F1 2010 Montreal - Canada (Dry)

F1 2010 The Game (Codemasters)
Try Simon's setup with the Brake Pressure set to Medium rather than Hard. Once I did that, I started shaving .3 - .4 seconds of my laps, three laps in a row... The Massa blocked me, and I had the engineer telling him to pull over as I was faster than him

Nice setup, THX... just did a 1:12.539 with the McLaren after few laps.

Just did a 1m16.201 with Simons setup, all i did was change aerodynamics to:

Front : 4
Rear : 3

I found i could carry more speed through the chicanes, and get on the throttle a bit earlier without spinning out.

This was in a Torro Rosso in my first season in career mode.
and was turning my front wing DOWN for the long straight.

What are your gear ratios for your setup,Johnyboy1429?

My first successful set up is a modified version of the Quick lowest downforce setting (so where there is xxx I've not touched that area), which gave me a time of 1:26:016 in a Sauber

dont know if anyone else has noticed but you have only changed one thing in this setup and thats the downforce has anyone any custom made setups

I thought I was quick with my 1.12.906 RBR, career mode, 3rd season (started at Virgin then went to Ferrari, now Red Bull's). 1.11 is impossible with a keyboard.
Anyway, that's my favourite track.
Did just some ajustments with the gears (1st setup of the page).

I'm always in pursuit of improving my lap times - my previous lap time in the dry here was 1.13.897 - with the setup on the third post, I got a 1.12.599. (1284th to 349th on leaderboards) I had always used high downforce setups at Montreal, but evidently low downforce is the order of the day here. Nice stuff :)

i thought since there isnt one up yet. id give it a go i admit it needs a lot of work on and im sure you guys could do much better.

Probably can be improved further. This was done with a racing wheel and prime tires in P3.

I basically used Simon's setup but instead of the lowest downforce quick setting I used the 4th from the right on the slider. I a 1:16.164 which was fastest in practice. And in qualifying on option tires I did a 1:17.693 which was got me the pole. I haven't raced it yet but I'm sure it will be good.

Ok, now then, this is by far the best set up i have seen for canada. I just posted a lap time of 1:14.910 in a Maclaren. But as my last time was +0.697 slower, with the normal game set up, im sure there is more we can push out the car. As this was a time trial, i dont know how to get the less fuel option. But grats, this is the best.

Yea I can do 1:12's in a Mclaren using default set up. But can only do 1:18's in a Sauber in Career mode. Qualified 5th. I have 3 wins in Career mode but the longer I go on the worse it gets. I used Simons set up to get the 1:18 to qualify but doubt I can run that consistently during the race. I am fast in corners three and four. Slow in five and six. Pretty good at the hair pin and good at the chicane at the end of the long straight. But not so good in corners one and two. I have to use primes to get low lap times.

Maybe useful, if anyone who post their times could write also, WHICH Setup they used, because there are more than one in each thread ;)
Just my opinion.
