F1 2010 Monte Carlo - Monaco (Dry)

F1 2010 The Game (Codemasters)
Maybe you were hitting a kerb?

I love the track but i keep finding a massive bump on the inside of casino and flying into the wall.

Nah I'm not hitting a kerb. I easily spin out at turn 7 and the Nouvelle Chicane. But got better at correcting oversteer now so it's all good!
However, there is a glitch (I'm on PS3) just before turn 15. If you go too close to the wall, the car just goes flying into the air like Webber, which is really annoying as it almost cost me the race.

Its similar to the OP's set up but I changed I few things for my driving style and got 1:16:016 on career mode, before I couldn't even get past the high 1:17's

I love this track but I'm horrible at it. I've been using time trial as practice and the best i did was a 1:19:XXX using Victor's setup, and I have abs on and traction on full (gearbox auto) no brake assist as I still haven't gotten the hang of using my controller on the pc.

Can anyone post a video or something explaining how to take each corner and at what speed to take it at because I follow the racing line but consistently crashing  into barriers on turn 3, 4,8, the left hander after 10, the right hander after 11, sometimes on 12 and 13, and almost always on the right into 16. :frown:

I've been racing on this track for the past 6 months practicing everyday and yet I still suck at this. After the first 3 months I decided to turn the brake assist off and now I feel more in control. However, I'm still not able to post decent lap times.

Praying that more practice can help.
Any help anyone?

The time bellow was achieved in time trial mode with Mercedes-Gp. The car is slightly oversteering at corners' exits but it has very nice turn in speed and allows you to make some critical through corner brakings without understeer. It s a PC lap time, with xbox 360 controller, all assists were turned off and the lap time is set to 1:14:069

My platform is a PS3 and i too have noticeable frame rate reduction at turns 15 and 16. Very distracting and hinders the 'rhythm' of the lap. I have been waiting for a patch to be released that addresses this issue.

I've used slightly modified Blackfox's setup and was great (Lotus S1, expert, tire and fuel sim on). I've changed brake balance slightly to the front and changed gearbox to 6 gears (didn't used 7th gear at all). With gearbox with less gears there is no need to change gears so often and it also reduces wheel spin :)

Managed to do 1:17.2 on qual which was P2. I was P9 in race since I was trying to drive safely (since no flashbacks on expert). I think that P4-5 was easily possible.
