Three great races last night! Can never go wrong with minis:in-love:

The mini is such a great car to drive. I can't remember how each race ended (was really tired) but I was very happy with my pace. BIG thanks to Sam for the setups. All 3 were really good:good:

I must apologize to Avi. In the first race I thought the race was over at lap 15:damnit:. So I naturally started to slow down and wag the tail of the mini:) It was very bad sports when I think about it now, but it was not intentional as I thought we had finished the race

Thanks to RD and Stuart.

Huge fun in the mini's last night :good:

Goldenport was IMO a nice track, helped that I had been round here before in a Evo Mini enduro (1hr 20mins) ended up P4 which I was quite pleased with.

Westwood. Another nice little track. I don't know what caused it but 3/4 of the way through the race I just got the giggles, and they didn't stop untill the race finished. I had to turn the mic off at one point because of my uncontrolled mirth. The last few laps were literally a blur as I was driving through tears of laughter :) finished P7

Moirana. No experience/practice on this track whatsoever, so no surprise that I wasn't on the pace, still what with people falling off the track I think I ended up 7th.

It must be the way I drive. I can experience oversteer but I don't find these cars to be oversteering monsters. I can get nice handling characteristics out of most rwd cars[bmw's, gt-pro's, f3000, fbmw etc] but this one, at some tracks is a tough nut.

Andriy, you don't mind me getting "close" as I try to get by, do you?

Guys, our event is just around the corner and it will be record breaking one.

As far as I know, no one did a 4hrs+ event with Evo... even if we go to GTR2 and rFactor, most long events there aren't a single driving stint ones and many use accelerated time.

Currently there is only one public server (srsg) with GTP on-line (no GTS), I've done some practice there and contacted with a few racers from other clubs. Many of them say it is impossible to do this, especially at Le Mans... I just tell them that we will do it or fail trying it.

Here is a link for a good track description at the virtual LM site, I know the track begs for a 935/36 turbo, but we can't have it all :wink2:

Will just add to the above, that obviously this is a very demanding track... fast setups needed for the 3 quick zones aren't compatible with the high support setups needed for the Ss. So a balance/carefulness will be need here more than anywhere else :wink2:

Be extra careful with the corners that have wooden poles or turn signals... they are hard has a rock, and “kill” your engine.

As I told one of you by PM, this won't be about who win's it, it will be about how many finish it.. plain simple :soldier:

I am terribly sorry guys but I have to put myself in the maybe corner.
As some of you know this event is taking place on my birthday and where I first thought that none of my immediate family members were actually coming, it now seems they are throwing me a surprise party...offcourse I can't be sure of this until it actually happens so I just can't tell if I will race right now...

Thanks for the link Joao. I must say i didn't drove any lap on it yet. Rfactor got piority now and didn't got really the time to drive GTR . And honeslty i forgot the event a little bit :D

I only think that not many people will see the end. The longest race for me was the Paul Ricard one. And that was really exhausting on a not really demandig track. But we will see. :)
